In 2010 a group of dancers and I formed a new dance collective to support ourselves in actualizing our ideas and providing a critical response process that helps to encourage and advance the individual artists involved and the group as a whole. We are working in two ways.
First, under the name Fifth Movement Dance, we are creating and maintaining a repertory and involved in showing in theatre venues and dance performance evenings.
Secondly, with TheSpaceInvadersProject, we aim to bring dance to the audience by performing on the streets of Santa Fe, free of charge. There we hope to generate more experimental and improvisational ideas and entertain the passerby.
